Weld
Technician – 3rd shift (Internal Only): The Weld Technician will conduct weld tests for
applicants and employees, monitor welder quality in the shop, evaluate and
audit welders as well as maintaining welding records. The Weld Technician will
install new welding equipment and welding processes; troubleshoot welding and
equipment problems; and train Combination Welders. Successful candidates will
have high school or equivalent education, 5 years progressively responsible
welding experience, basic proficiency in MS Office applications, knowledge of
ASME code requirements, excellent communication and organization skills, and
the ability to instruct and work well with others.
Combination Welder will meet ASME welding requirements
with minimum defects. Welders are responsible for loading/unloading weld
positioners (pinwheels) and turning rolls, welding in tight areas, performing
quality arc gouging, loading and unloading welding machines with proper welding
consumables, grinding and cleaning welding passes when welding parts. Welders
are also required to safely and efficiently move parts when necessary.
Successful candidates must be qualified in SMAW and FCAW or SAW (GTAW
preferred) and meet 2G & 3G fluxcore and 2G stick testing requirements with
100% x-ray. Strong preference is given to candidates with pressure vessel
experience.
Fitter Welder will meet ASME welding requirements
with minimum defects. Fitter Welders will layout cutting and burning marks
on channel or shell assemblies, burn and clean holes. Fitter Welders will
perform fitups on nozzles, couplings, pass partition plates, shrouds, vessel
supports and skirts to tubesheets. This position is also responsible for
loading/unloading pinwheels, welding in tight areas, perform quality arc
gouging, load and unload welding machines with proper welding consumables and
grind and clean welding passes when welding parts. Fitter Welders will be
required to safely and efficiently move parts when necessary. Successful
candidates must be qualified in SMAW and FCAW or SAW (GTAW preferred) and meet
2G & 3G fluxcore and 2G stick testing requirements with 100% x-ray. Strong
preference is given to candidates with pressure vessel experience.
Maintenance
Electrician – 2nd shift: This
position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of 440,
220, AC and DC systems. In addition, the
individual will troubleshoot and repair welding equipment (Lincoln, Hobart, and
Miller), positioning equipment (power rolls and manipulators), machining
equipment (lathes, mills, gundrills, multi-spindle drills), overhead cranes,
pumps, motors, transformers, and 1000KV power supplies and be required to
work at various heights (up to 60 feet).
Requires the ability to read and interpret blueprints, knowledge of grinding
and other air tool equipment, ability to operate overhead cranes and hoists,
and ability to communicate well and work well with fellow employees.
Production Machinist (CNC): Responsible for efficiently setting
up and operating tools, fixtures and equipment for machining operations on a
variety of metals. Successful candidates will have working knowledge in the
safe operation of computer numerically controlled equipment, to include
horizontal and vertical boring mills, drills, turret lathes and machining
centers. This individual will be required to edit CNC programs occasionally and
work with manufacturing engineers to solve machining problems. Machinists will
determine optimal feeds and speeds for the equipment.
BTA Machine Operator: Responsible
for setting up and operating high precision deep hole drilling equipment. Successful candidates will maintain a high
degree of technical competency in Boring Trepanning Association (BTA)
principles and practices. A working knowledge of CNC controls, length to
diameter hole profiles / ratios, drill accuracy, and surface finish
requirements Is necessary. Operators must be familiar with the overall BTA
system operation, operator level maintenance requirements, specialized tooling,
and precision inspection techniques. Blueprint interpretation and relevant
experience in machine programming is desired.
Combination Drill Operator: Successful candidates will set up
and operate numerically controlled multi-spindle drilling
equipment. Combination Drill Operators will edit NC programs and work
with manufacturing engineers to solve machining issues. Combination Drill
Operators will determine proper tooling, feeds and speeds for the different
types of drilling operations when machining various materials (carbon, chrome,
Monel, Inconel, and stainless steel). Successful candidates will have working
knowledge of inspection procedures and layout operations. Some experience with
CNC machining is desired.
Burn Table Operator:
Responsible for setting up and operating Altra and ESAB CNC Plasma and
Oxyfuel Plate Burning equipment. The operator will load and unload plate
up to 6” thick, edit shape burning programs for a variety of metals, to include
carbon and stainless steel, and perform preventative predictive maintenance,
clean and organize the work area, Operators will cut, account, and
disposition off-fall and scrap. Operators will use the plant computer
manufacturing software to plan and account for work. Operators will work with
manufacturing engineers to make process improvements and resolve manufacturing
problems. Safety, blueprint and basic inspection skills are required.
Preference will be given to operators with prior CNC experience.
Blaster/Painter: Responsible for operating sand blast, paint, and
drying equipment for preparing, cleaning, and finishing heat exchangers and
condensers. Candidates must wear protective equipment, and safely set up and
operate high pressure sand blasting equipment. Experience preparing, mixing,
and applying a variety of paints and coatings to metal surfaces is required.
Candidates will be responsible for environmental monitoring and compliance, and
for the proper organization and cleanliness of work areas. Some inventory
control experience is desired.
Tool Repair:
will perform all repairs on pneumatic/air tools. This person will
maintain adequate inventory of parts to insure timely repair of those tools and
maintain a history of repairs for each type of tool by serial number. This
person will communicate appropriately to employees with tools in need of
repair. Preference given to experience candidates.
Combination Tube Processor: is responsible for the setup and operation of
the tube stress relieving equipment for various size tubes; setting up the saw
to cut various lengths off tubes, duburring the id and od of the tubes
correctly, operating the overhead crane and assist in staging tubes; set up and
operation of the tube hydrotest equipment for various sizes of tubes. Requires
related experience.
Machine Lay-out:
is responsible for using the most efficient tooling to quickly and
accurately perform the required layout operations. Will use hand-held
calculator to perform Cartesian, polar and cylindrical mathematical
calculations. This person is responsible for providing all reference and
location indicating marks to be used by the shop. Requires 2-3 years working
knowledge of layout operations and equipment, ability to read and determine
requirements from blueprints, working knowledge of drilling and tapping
equipment, ability to operate overhead cranes, strong working knowledge of
trigonometry and geometry.
Tool
Room Supervisor:
The successful candidate will be highly service oriented and experienced in
organizing and directing tool crib operations.
Experience in MRO inventory management, computer administration,
employee supervision, and customer service is required. Experience with welding / welding consumables
is desired. The successful candidate must become familiar with small air and
electric tools and tool repair. This
hands-on position requires some college and material management
experience. Manufacturing supervisory
experience is preferred.
Drafter: Will prepare detailed mechanical
drawings and bills of material used for fabrication. Skills needed are: Autodesk Inventor – 3D
design & modeling, AutoCAD, strong mathematical skills, Microsoft Office
and ability to communicate your ideas to others. Familiarity with metal fabrication including
welding and machining operations.
Engineering Software Developer: designs and enhances engineering
applications; defines customer/partner usability and integration issues;
develops technical solutions; implements technical solutions; accomplishes
information systems and organization mission. Requires experience with
scientific or numerical programming using scientific Python or other non-visual
language. Proven experience developing in .Net, C#, and VB.net is required.
Candidates must have experience developing in a large, integrated system for a
Windows operating environment. Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer
Science and five years experience in programming or Engineering Technology.
Requires mechanical aptitude to visualize the end product and relate to desired
user outcomes.
Field
Service Engineer: Successful candidate will provide
technical and engineering support to customers. Requirements include a BS
degree in Engineering with at least three years experience in a manufacturing
environment, thorough knowledge of heat exchanger design and manufacturing
techniques, and be willing to travel upon request. Must be proficient in use of
MS Office with excellent communication skills.
Associate Accountant: responsible for generating customer
invoices according to contract terms and provisions and expeditious collection
of accounts receivable. Requires BS Accounting or Finance.
Applications Engineer: Responsible for performing the
pre-sales engineering tasks to size and complete specification of heat transfer
equipment for proposals, the required post sales work during design phase, and
the engineering support of other departments. BS degree in Engineering with 6
to 8 years progressively responsible engineering experience in heat transfer
equipment. Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD. Good
communication skills.
Sales Engineer: Responsible for maintaining and developing new
business for feedwater heaters and heat exchangers to be used in power plants
by building business relationships, organizing and assembling technical and
commercial information to prepare, present, and negotiate proposals, and
communicating with customers about specifications and order
clarifications. Requires BS Engineering
and at least 2 years technical sales experience.
